Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle Premiere
The awesome Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle movie premiere in Los Angeles transformed the iconic TCL Chinese Theater into a full tilt jungle. This massive multi area event activation came complete with crashed helicopters, giant hippo’s and lots of greenery. There was even a rustic loose-paneled bridge running across the ceiling at this action packed adventure premiere. Tree branches, vines and lots of plants were used everywhere to make all the guests feel as if they were in a real jungle. There was excitement around every corner and lots of eye candy at this red carpet event and after party. In the Moroccan Bazaar area we decorated the shelves behind the bar with everything that would be seen at a live bazaar. There were mason jars full of olives, bottles of olive oil, baskets of fruit, vegetables and spices. We also had various props from the movie like pots and pans all over the place. There were even some baskets full of multi-colored yarn and fabric scattered in the corners of the room. To make the Moroccan area even more authentic there were large ornamental Middle-Eastern lamps and multi-colored drape swags hanging from the ceiling. The walls had some traditional blue and white-patterned fabric to bring design together and add some flair. It was really quite the scene, as to be expected in a bustling bazaar. All the guests really loved this area.
The lounge furniture in each section was carefully selected in order to make sure the designs fit perfectly. The main room had a comfortable tobacco furniture line. It was a great blend of functionality and aesthetics. Since the theme in the main space was jungle-themed, we also used coffee tables with wood plank tops and tree trunk stand-ups to blend the many green elements together. In order to emphasize the greenery even more, we used green and blue lighting. The blue lighting was used on the walls and ceiling was lit with green lighting. Colors like orange and red were also used on the walls to add some warmth and color. The Moroccan Bazaar area had a more rustic design in terms of furniture. We used antiqued wooden dining tables and bistro chairs to match the aesthetics of this area to a T. The bazaar area also had warm pink, purple and yellow lighting which was accented by a little blue lighting to bring out color in some areas. It made it feel as if the mid afternoon sun was peaking through the multi colored fabrics hanging all around the area. The amazing lighting was the cherry on the cake at The Jumanji premiere in Los Angeles. Never has there been so much wild on the red carpet. This one-of-a-kind experiential event was a blast for everyone! Keeping all the guests entertained all night long was a plethora of performers, musicians and special guests. Some of the more famous names entertaining everyone at The Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle movie premiere were Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan. The musician Nick Jonas also made sure everyone had fun on the dance floor by playing all his best hits. The entire 15|40 Productions team had a blast designing and building this massive jungle wonderland in the heart of Hollywood and we look forward to the next time we get to be creative.
