Genius Premiere Los Angeles
The Genius premiere from National Geographic was held at The beautiful Westwood Village Theater in Los Angeles. The arrival setup for this brainy event consisted of a yellow carpet with large graphic art prints. Sections of the step & repeat featured 3D title treatments drawn by our chalk artist. The design at the after party featured diamond cut backlit panels, an Edison lightbulb installation, a burgundy fabric patterned bar, and a variety of scenic clock pieces including the Swiss clock tower in Bern that inspired Einstein. Navy velvet drapery was used throughout the party alongside walls that had an espresso stained diamond finish. Teal suede sofas and purple pods provided comfortable seating for guests. The décor consisted of gold framed coffee tables, greenery accents, props in the bookshelves, science beakers, lavish white floral arrangements, and chalkboard tabletops for guests to draw on. Lavender and amber accent lighting added to the ambiance of the party.
To round out the event, there was a lot of entertainment at the Genius premiere. We had sway pole performers dressed in costumes from the Einstein era, live 3D chalk artists, music by DJ TyLA, an electric violinist, a robotic band, and Einstein himself performing acrobatic tricks on a bike. Guests also had a lot of fun writing on huge chalk walls and checking out the awesome Instagram robot chalk installation. The National Geographic Genius premiere in Los Angeles was truly very stimulating, and 15|40 Productions
is proud to have been a part of it!
