The Annie movie premiere was held at the historic Ziegfeld Theater in New York City. It had a cozy street scene design that embraced the feeling of New York. Large scenic building backdrops came complete with fire escapes and were accented by a sleek black carpet. Hop scotch inlays along with #ANNIEMOVIE was inlaid into this special red carpet. The red carpet was brought to life with spectacular performances by Music Unites, a local children’s choir, and kid DJ Beaty & Beatz as elves passed out hot chocolate from City Bakery. The festivities continued at the after party held at Skylight Clarkson Sq. This raw venue space was transformed into an authentic New York City street scene. The entrance featured the Music Unites Choir, singing Annie classics such as “It’s a Hard Knock Life” and “The Sun Will Come Up Tomorrow“. The Annie movie premiere also had a balloon artist and a live chalk artist for everyone of all ages to enjoy. The main room held 20’ tall faux city buildings, street performers and twinkle lights that hung throughout the area. The activity areas were also amazing, they included a Central Park Pet experience sponsored by Mastercard.
